Internal Affairs Unit (IAU)

In accordance with the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023, the government has placed primary emphasis on ensuring the integrity of public officials and creating a public service in Sri Lanka that is free from bribery and corruption. As a key initiative in combating corruption within the public sector of Sri Lanka, Internal Affairs Units (IAUs) have been established in all government ministries, departments, and institutions. The purpose of these units is to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity across the public sector, and to ensure that government services are delivered effectively to all citizens.

Accordingly, if you are aware of any irregularity, corruption, or fraud occurring within our department, you may report such information or lodge a complaint either with your identity or anonymously through the Internal Affairs Unit established in our department using the following contact details.
