• Providing consulting services related to construction of building as requested by the institutions under Central Government.
• Dealing with the requests received under the Right to Information Act No. 12 of 2016 and forwarding the relevant reports to the Chief Secretary within the prescribed period.
• Providing training

            i. Identifying the  training needs of the Staff and accordingly,

               a. Providing training through the department.

               b. Referral to the training programs conducted by the Personnel and Training Division of the Chief Secretariat.

               c. Carrying out the necessary action to refer suitable officers for foreign training programs and foreign scholarships

2. Providing trainings to Engineers to get professional qualification
3. Providing Industrial Trainings Programs for B.Sc Civil Engineering Undergraduates.
4. Providing Industrial Training Opportunities for Bachelor of Technology and related in Universities.
5. Providing  On the Job  trainings for students who following courses like National Diploma in Technology, Diploma in Technology, National Certificate in Technology, Draughtsmanship, Quantity Surveying, Worksite Supervision, Contract Management and Computers in Technical Colleges and Vocational Training Authority Institutions.
